ABOUT UHP
Extreme Water Efficiency
With low-pressure fire pumps, as little as 10% of the water goes twoards extinguishing the flames. The other 90% falls away, completely wasted.

Water Usage Comparison

HMA ultra high pressure suppression systems use one-half to one-fifth the water with more than 90% effectiveness. Any water not applied to the flame is converted to steam that fills the room's atmosphere and cools the air.

Rapid Heat Reduction
The biggest weapon a fire has is heat. In enclosed areas thermal areas can vary as much as 1,000°F between the floor and ceiling.

Rapid Heat Reduction

Testing has shown that using ultra high pressure fire suppression and proper attack patterns, upper layer room temperatures can be decreased by more than 1,000°F in seconds.

Effective Smoke Ventilation
One of the unexpected, but most appreciated, aspects of ultra high pressure is its phenomenal positive pressure ventilation capabilities.

Effective Smoke Ventilation

Smoke exits a room significantly faster using UHP, markedly improving safety and visibility.

Diminishing Damage
In most cases a fire only effects a small portion of a structure. The widespread damage and destruction is typically the result of water and smoke. HMA Fire UHP fire suppression uses considerably less water, most of which evaporates, leaving significantly less damage.

Versatile Vehicle Adaptability
HMA Fire ultra high pressure is light and compact, perfect for offroad UTV's and pick-up trucks, but also an advantageous addition for full-size fire apparatus.

Versatile Vehicle Adaptability

In fact, UHP systems from HMA Fire are available pre-installed in vehicles, as skid mounts or as retrofit packages for existing equipment.
